Neon Friday

 The new synthwave single from the Spacebirds is a new nostalgic journey into the youth of the 1980s, this is the cheerfulness of the dance and the lyrics of the soul. In addition to the original track, the release contains two great remixes: an analogue replica by IDM master Nick Zavriev (aka Ambidextrous) and a Minimal House variation by DJ Sergey Oblomov

Spaceship 2022

Apple Music.

SPACEBIRDS - 15! FREE PLAYLIST 2022-2008

(Neon Friday)

 Spacebirds is 15 years old! In February 2022, Spacebirds turned 15 years old! It all started with the fact that in 2008 I suddenly decided that in my synthesizer setup I really lacked a children's synthesizer and I bought a Casio SA-46. And then I decided: it would be interesting and fun to create synthpop/electropop exclusively on children's musical instruments - and I bought a lot of different musical toys. And with their help, I recorded the first song for the Spacebirds - it was “My Toy Spaceship”. Since then, the Spacebirds have swooped into synth-genre territory, moving from ironic electropop to analogue minimal acid disco to mainstream (but not without irony) synthwave/retrowave. On the occasion of the micro-anniversary, I bring to your attention this playlist - from the very first song (My Toy Spaceship) to the most recent, completed in February 2022 (Neon Friday)

Desafio de neon

We are pleased to announce that a new single from Spacebirds, ‘‘ Desafio de neon ’,

has arrived on all major streaming services and digital stores today! These are three

dreamy, almost chill-like tracks inspired by 80s cinematography, italo disco era and

nostalgia for neon youth.

You shoot me neon challenge. And I accept it.
After all, this is a magical journey into the past,
in the days when we were young and full of hope.
This is a wonderful time of our neon youth.
We hope you enjoy this release. We love you!

Spacebirds-1 Re-Released!

 ++++

Friends, I am glad to announce that we are gradually updating the back catalog. On September 23, 2021, on the main digital platforms (Spotify, Apple, Yandex Music, Youtube, Boom, VK, etc.), a remastered and expanded reissue of the debut album Spacebirds, which was called "Spacebirds", will be released. The album was recorded in 2008-2009. and was first released in 2010. Its stylistics, perhaps, can be described as follows: Analogue Minimal Acid Disco. In fact, 90% of the material on the album is recorded using analog monophonic synthesizers, and the "driving force" of the arrangements is sequences and acid bass. This album has always seemed to me ... too minimalistic, so I'm even a little surprised that it has the most streams on the Bandcamp of our digital label Laser Visa. And so the album was remastered, finished off with several bonus tracks and gave it a second life. So, on September 23rd, open our ears and listen!

Electric Open Air (Remastered Re-Release)

Princess Of Venus - 10 Year

10 years ago, the first version of "Princess Of Venus" was recorded on toy musical

instruments, later overgrown with many variations - from "toy" ones to those

recorded on analog monophonic synthesisers.
Three years ago, a single was released, including several "reflections" of this

composition, including two live recordings.
10 years is a good reason to remember that release, right?
+++
